CLO#1. Acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop a rhetorical sensibility

The main way that I grew from linguistic differences was through group work. It’s one thing to do research, but it’s arguably more effective to talk to people who have very different linguistic backgrounds than I do. In groups, I would have to make sure that my thoughts were accounted for just as much as everyone else, and doing this showed me how to work with people who may understand English in a different way than me. Attached is a screenshot from a presentation we made together- every member understood each other’s strengths and weaknesses and we ended up making something that equally accounted for all of our input.
